Village Day - a great success
Not only did we have a wonderful day but we raised a fantastic £900 for Tresham Church, largely due to:
- the generosity of those who contributed the cream tea and cakes, the prizes and activities, as well as the extra donations;
- the efforts of the music-makers and ticket sellers;
- and to everyone who supported the event by buying tickets.
A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE
Now read on to find photographs and a breakdown of the £900...........
You can find some great photos of the day on Picasa. If you would like full size images of any of these, write to richard.goodenough@tresham.org.uk and if you took some photos you think people might like to see, again, let me know.
If you would like to know how we made £900, here is a full breakdown, also posted on the two notice boards.
Finally, did you leave behind a kitchen knife with black handle and/or a multi-colour golfing umbrella? Please phone 890235 to arrange collection.

Looks like a great day...gutted we couldn't make it. Tennis trophy would have been OURS...
Bring on the hog roast.
I agree. One year we will make it over from Canada for it!
Looks like you guys had a blast!!! We will definitely have to make a trip out for this in the coming years. Looks like the kids got all the fun races - it's been TOO LONG since I have jumped around in a potato sack!
