There is a black plastic bag with a tie on it, at the junction of the lane onto the A46. It has been there for a few weeks,does this have anything to do with the statuettes ? It looks a bit too tidy to be rubbish ?
Abandoned Statuettes
Jo Flowerdew reports that on 26 May [the delay is my fault, having been on holiday – Ed]:
“a man called at our house with 2 statuettes he had found abandoned in the hedgerow near the A46. He thinks they have been stolen. They stand about 18 inches high and are a little girl and boy. He has informed the Chipping Sodbury police station and has also left me his home number.
