Easter Service
Easter Day is on April 21st this year, and we shall be celebrating it at Tresham at 11am, thanks to Iain Marchant’s kind offer to take the service. Iain has a long view of life; he was an active young seaman in the war, and after ordination he was based at Hawkesbury for a time when Tresham was attached to that parish, so has known our village for many decades. He has taken a number of services in our church since his retirement, and is probably a familiar figure to us all on his electric vehicle in Wotton, doing the shopping as energetically as he does everything else.
As ever, it will be a spring-flowers-filled event of not only Christian celebration but also the celebration of the general delights of spring and annual new life in our lovely Cotswold valley.
There will also be some Easter eggs and we hope there will be children coming to enjoy them. Everyone is very welcome and you are warmly invited whether you normally attend services or not.
We are also holding our normal April service this Sunday 7th, but we shall not be holding a service on the first Sunday in May. After Easter, normal services resume on June 2nd. All services are held at 11am.
With best wishes
Sue
