We have been advised that “Furlong Lane” (which is defined as the entire road from the A46 through to Alderley) will at times be closed from 16th April 2014 to 25th April 2014 to allow for resurfacing works.  Residents will get a letter notifying them of the work about two weeks beforehand.  But our understanding is that there will be access during the day to and from the village in one direction and outside working hours the road will be open.
