Tom has asked me to inform the village that his father, John Hatherell, died peacefully at home on 13 July aged 82 years.
He lived at Westonbirt with his wife, Margaret, but for many years they lived at Burden Court. They did a lot for the village, including funding the repair of a church window and holding fetes in their garden. John will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends.
