It has been a very unusual and in some cases a tough few months for us in Tresham.  However, we have rallied round as a community and helped each other where possible.

I would like to propose a little light relief and that we plan to have an informal village gathering on Saturday 1st August.  Weather permitting, let’s meet at Well Hill with camping chairs, a few bottles of beer and wine, together with a BBQ or two.  Of course it might not just be the weather that prevents this, there may be the existing or new government restrictions in place.  Social distancing may still have to be respected and there may be villagers who would prefer to continue laying low until a better time.  We can use the interim period to assess the possibilities and decide on the format.  Either way, it would be good to put a date in the diary and have something to look forward to.  How about gathering at 5pm and light BBQs at 6pm?
